Every Cunetto I've ever seen has had either a flamed or birdseye maple neck, every one. They also have a strange misshapen headstocks. It's only an aesthetic feature but one my eye fixes on. Another possible detail to consider when trying to identify these things. I've seen one or two Cunettos go for cheap presumably because the seller didn't know what he was selling. Obsessing over minutae can be a good thing sometimes!
