Ok, I finally got the tube amp I needed for the coming gigs I'll play with the band.
I got a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe SE, the budget version of the HR Deluxe. Sounds good, really, although it's nothing fancy (it's a workhorse Fender amp, not a classic)...
I got a very good price for it, because it was the last one left at the store, the one on display (I don't care, it's an amp I'm buying to hit the road with, it'll look bad in no time).

I can't tell from the pics, but is the chassis painted or does it have a laser engraved control plate? They were chrome for a long time. I work on these a lot, but haven't seen the new ones.
