Although Mayer is a young generation player, I do like him when he plays live. He sure knows how to play some blues on a strat.

Well I don't really like or listen to either one, but I know talent when I see it (or hear, in this case). That's chops!
They've got chops and write very good songs. Now if they'd quit trying to vamp while they're playing, that would be cool.

JM's talent is something that cannot be denied. You can't mess with someone who plays Hendrix with this class (worth listening all the way):

Call me a heretic, purists, but although I am a SRV fan myself, I don't consider this JM performance inferior to his.
