All I can say is, why did I wait so long....could have been because my 52 Tele Reissue was good, and was a great recording guitar, and good live guitar....but...
The 51 Nocaster Relic destroys that guitar. lighter, better neck, better sound, just everything.... everything....what a great guitar. Happy, and just sad I waited so long.

I love your new guitar too, it's something I really dig! Glad to hear you're elated with it. IMO, we put off buying these types of guitars because there's a stigma about spending so much on "something" I could build myself". And while it's true we could do it ourselves, in the end, I think it's better to just pony up and get the "good stuff". YMMV. This is coming from a dude who LOVES to tweak and fiddle. But I'm at the point now where I'm weeding stuff out to get exactly what I want. It's really hard for me because it's an addiction, or seems like it.

Just did a few more rehearsals, and then a gig...this guitar is seriously hogging the stage time. Sounded great...could not be more happy.
