I watched a couple of songs from a concert by Heart. I tuned in on one song, and she was playing a heavily distorted Telecaster with what looked like a humbucker or mini-humbucker (waiting for new glasses). They zoomed in on the lead guitarist at the start of the new song, and Nancy started playing. I thought, that's a typical Tele sound. Then the cam went to NW, and she was playing a Gibson Nighthawk (I think). I was fooled, and I admit it.

That's the Tele I was talking about. But she was playing with such distortion that the Tele tone was lost. The Nighthawk had more of a Tele sound than that Tele.

my buddy's store has the red white and blue one for sale buck owens model. CIJ its pretty heavy. They want a nice chunk o change for it too

I'm with you gooman. Throw away the hotness factor and she's still one of my favorite guitarists. And her sis has the best set of pipes this side of anywhere.
