I have a CIJ paisley tele that I love, I was wondering if anyone has had an opportunity to play one of the later reissues like the one I have vs. the real McCoy from '68. Are there any real noticable differences?

It's heavy!! That's the only thing bad thing I can say about mine. It's suppose to be basswood but my MIJ '62 RI (which is also basswood) is alot lighter. I'm figuring it's the finish...
Other than that the guitar plays fine for my purposes. I swapped out the pups and CIJ electronics with CTS pots, four-way switch, and Harmonic Design pups to add to the quality. I never played a real '68 or '69 Paisely so I can't compare...
