    Nice geet....IMO, the Hot Rod series is the best darn bang for the buck......

    I agree, thin skin body, big frets, all you gotta do is swap out the pickups and you have a killer player...

    I love it!

    I kind of made my own when I put a USACG boat neck with 7.25-9.5" compound radius fretboard and 6105 frets, Fralin Vintage Hot pickups, a '50s style guard, a Callaham bridge and Gotoh Kluson style tuners on my sunburst Hwy1 Strat (there's not a hell of a lot of HWY1 Strat left on mine!).

    I played a great CAR 57 Hot Rod with a ToneZone S at the bridge. It wailed.
