Rochester snob attitude? Wha?
Kap'n doesn't live here anymore, Mikey is busy making a living, I've got gigs coming out of my ears and possibly a new lady friend that needs attention, and Chuck is beating the streets for work...I don't think we're all trying to be snobby, just busy living lives offline!

that can show me what laughter means
And we'll fill in the missing colors
In each other's paint-by-number dreams..."
Not an expert in this field but I do like this Vox AD30VT XL as a Practice amp. Great little practice amp, and I suppose could serve as a small gig stage amp or even be miked if need be... but I bought it for a practice amp. Nice modeling.
I never was a vox guy. I had a bad expirence with an ac30 top boost korg reissue. Allways something going wrong. I play loud and it ate power tube like crazy. I would not even try another vox. Then the owner of a music store who I know talked me into trying out the ac4tv. I ended up takeing it home. Nice amp for the house. Then I was offered a great deal ( 20 bucks over cost) on a new ac15h1tv heritage. I ended up buying that also. For the style I play (mostly blues) there is enough options that I dont think it a one trick pony at all. I have not tried it with pedals yet. Thats just my expirence with Vox. If I start haveing trouble with the ac15 it will be gone quickly. So far so good. Sorry for the long winded post.
I found some ac4tv clips on youtube if anyone wants to check them out. One is just the ac4 and the other has a pedal and extra speaker cab.

2004 Gibson Les Paul Vintage Mahogany-"Rosie"
2002 Squier Strat-"Chip"
Vox Pathfinder 15R
...but always looking and hoping to add more stuff ;)
Hey that guy in the video actually has the tele switch in the correct location. Cool. Looks like a 52 ri?
Why's the strat lounging around hidden behind the rest of that rig?
Awesome pic.
It's a "big-headstock" Strat from the CBS era......you know how sensitive those guitars are about that!

I love the big headstock. 1970s Strats, step forward and show your big, curvy headstocks! Real Strats have curves!
The legendary Abigail Ybarra!
Absolutely unequivocally NOT TRUE!
Leo Fender developed and patented the tilt-neck adjustment in 1970. It, in conjunction with the 3-bolt neck plate, wasn't installed in a Stratocaster guitar until mid-year 1971. The enlarged "CBS-era" headstock debuted in December of 1965. Thus, every Strat produced from January of 1966 through circa March or April of 1971 is a "big headstock - four bolt neck".

Yep, lot's of four-bolt big-headstock strats out there.
Mine has a three:
Natural finish on ash...black pg...black plastic...rosewood board...a beautiful 1970s Strat.
I've got a big-headstock Strat with a four-bolt neck myself. Of course...it's a 2006 Squier.
(But with GFS 60s Repros, it's a pretty sweet second Strat.)
Could I really be wrong? Was it the last year, '69, that the four bolt big head was made? Now I need to check up on that fact, never worried about it before....always thought it was the last of the four bolters....
I used to have a '65 sunbrust strat that was four bolt... must have been early '65... can't remember now what month... not that it matters to anyone....
just fun stuff...
From provide.net (easy online resource with tons of good info)
Neck Bolt Numbers (3 or 4).
* 4 bolt neck plates: all models used 4 bolt neck plates from 1950 to early 1971.
* 3 bolt neck plates: starting in early 1971, the Stratocaster, Telecaster Thinline, Custom Telecaster, Telecaster Bass used 3 bolt neck plate (the Telecaster and Precision Bass always used 4 bolt neck plates). In 1972 the Telecaster Deluxe (from introduction) also used the 3 bolt neck plate. By late 1972/early 1973, the Jazz Bass went to a 3 bolt neck plate.
* In 1979 the 4 bolt neck plate came back to the Anniversary strat. By 1980 all Stratocaster models were again 4 bolt. And by 1981, all Fender models converted back to the 4 bolt neck plate.
