It's not broken, just remove the "party" smile from the link address.

That does look sweet for the price. Maybe Rondo's secret is that they charge $399 for the guitar, and $499 for shipping and handling.

That Douglas reminds me of a good-looking deal on an Ibanez jazz box I saw in the last Zzounds.com e-mail:

    http://www.zzounds.com/item--IBAAF100

It's not the AF105 that sells for $900 -- that one has flame maple, and this one's apparently plain maple -- but it still looks like a lot of guitar for the money.

They're advertising a 3-piece alder bodied Strat for a little over $100. Is there a catch? I understand the pups and hardware may be shite, but can you argue with a hundred bucks for a finished body?

    What am I missing here?

    MuHaHa!

Soon - all your bases are be mine!

the stuff at Rondo is pretty nice! Of course some more than others, and personal pref. plays a big part.

I have worked on several that were nice out of the box and a great platform to expand on and improve.

Vintage Guitar mag has done several pieces as have guitar player and others.

I just replaced pups in a Douglass 335 style with Bigsby for a friend..and have to say it was decent before, really nice now and could be a little better yet with a fret dress which is just beyond me.

Check what they've got featured on their home page right now: A three-piece alder, three-tone sunburst Tele clone for $99! Pretty good looking, too.
