Hmmm, comp saddles don bodder me either.
looks like getting 3 Tele saddles on a 6 saddle trem bridge is da stickin point, unless the Tele plate holes line up with the trem block in which case you might not even need to cut the plate
OTOH, routing a Tele body for that trem will require exact work to get scale and string line up good, latter prob more touchy
I,ve done the opposite.I wanted the comfort of a strat and the tone of a tele.
