    Why is there such a big difference in power from one fender 60 watt amp to another?

    I have had several 60 watt (or so) Fender amps. Why does the HRdv have so much clean headroom compared to the others? It also pushes some serious low end, more so than a twin. I'm not saying this is the greatest amp by any means, but for me, I like the clean headroom. What makes this amp sound like it could be closer 100 watts?

    This may have something to do with plate voltage.........
    I'm sure the amp guys can be more specific.
