    Fan for Twin

Does anyone use a fan to cool off their tubes and transformer in their twins? I have a little one in the back and it really does the trick. But is this a good or bad idea?

It's not a bad idea as long as the proximity of the fan to the amp doesn't cause any hum or other spurious noise.

FWIW I been playin' TRs for some 35 years now......nevah had one overheat.

They do get pretty hot, though.

A fan is a fine idea. My Vibrolux had a small muffin fan installed by the PO in the back cover panel.

I'd guess it extends the tube life to some degree. I have no idea how you'd ever ascertain whether or not it was worth it.
    s'all goof.
