    sheilding pick up routes

What are the benefits of using copper shielding tape to cover the routes in the body where the pick ups go?

    Necessary? Good idea? Benefits?

Don't shield a guitar unless you absolutely have to.

An' for St. Leo's sake, use the copper tape if you must......it's awfully hard to scrap that shielding paint outta the pickup routs!
