Another Monkey user here. I ran two for a while until I loaned one to a friend.

I needed something else, so I am trying a DS-1. I had a DS-1 before and I hated it. Ya know what. I like it in front of the Bassman channel of my Super-Sonic.

Will I keep it? Stay tuned...

Monkey's are great.....like a TS9 with more gain. I have a Monkey.

Boss SD-1's (do not confuse this pedal with a DS-1) have a smoother midrange and more gain than a Monkey. I have an SD-1 and I switch it with the Monkey depending on my desire for middle growl.
