THD Univalve, Fender Deluxe Reverb, Fender VibroKing, Tech 21 TradeMark 60 and Roland JC-120.
Order of preference depends on the place and the music.
Mostly in order - Deluxe Reverb, VibroKing, THD Univalve, Trademark 60 and JC120.
Everything here..............

MY JAMS--
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/defa...&content=music
Dr. Z Maz Jr. 1x12 combo and an Allen Old Flame 1x12 combo. They sound like a Tele ought to sound, terrific.
Lately a '67 Bandmaster with a 2x12 cab or
DRRI and TS9
Tele= CIJ '72 Telecaster Custom RI (1996)
Sounds very good to me. Personally I like the clean sound of the Bandmaster with no effects, the neck pup is set just right and it has a very vintage tone, a good combination of guitar and amp. IMO
BW
A bit of everything depending on what I'm looking for. 5E3 for all out dirt, tweed Bassman clone for a big warm clean or just a touch of grit or a blackface Deluxe Reverb clone for a bit more snap (with great reverb).
Teles seem to love the old Fender circuits.
... thru the night
... thru the din of my air conditioner
Oh, and a Peavey too.
"Well, I used to be disgusted, now I try to be amused..."
Elvis Costello
Vox AC15 & Pathfinder 15r; Hiwatt custom mini-stack.
"I'm gonna find myself a girl
that can show me what laughter means
And we'll fill in the missing colors
In each other's paint-by-number dreams..."
'74 Twin Reverb
'73 Princeton
'64 Silvertone 1484
...and on the 8th day, God created the Super Reverb and there was ROCK, and it was GOOD!
My main stage amp was a '59 Bassman R.I. and my main recording/rehearsing amp is a Peavey Classic 30 combo.
"If you're cool, you don't know nothin' about it. It just is...or you ain't." - Keith Richards
-Mesa Boogie Express 5:50 1 x 12 Combo for clean tones, lush reverb, all out cascading gain mayhem.
-Tweed Deluxe clone for rootsy, on the edge tones and drool causing (my own drool) authentic fuzz tones.
Tweeds and Blackface...
My A/C is silverfaced.
"Well, I used to be disgusted, now I try to be amused..."
Elvis Costello
Tweed Vibrolux clone built by a local guy with 2x8" instead of 1x10". Sounds like a tele should sound throuw a tweed-type amp.
Yummo!
My Gear:
Gibson SG
James Burton Tele (standard---not the flaming one)
Guild Bluegrass Jubilee w/DTar
Kap'n 5E3
Marsh 5F11
What doesn't a tele sound good through?
Several guitars in different colors
Things to make them fuzzy
Things to make them louder
orange picks
Nothing, Kap'n - but it sounds less good through one of those Gorilla practice amps...

that can show me what laughter means
And we'll fill in the missing colors
In each other's paint-by-number dreams..."
Come on guys – got no pictures
My Tele is in it’s box awaiting my Birthday in 5 weeks time (an eternity)
It’ll be played through my 84 (?) Montreux – lovely amp, no pedals – or DI’d into a Boss Mini Digital recording studio
Peavey Classic 30
Fender DRRI and/or Budda SD-30
I've shown these here before-
That's a great sounding '68 Princeton Reverb in the left side of the M/B pic. I sold it to buy the Boogie.
My very clean '66 Vibrolux Reverb is to the left of the PR just outside the pic.
A Blockhead Jtm-45 equiped with NOS Genalex an
d Mullard tubes.
Also a Gibson Goldtone GA-60RV equiped with NOS Mullards and Brimar tubes.
My tele sounds great through anything, but for some reason, it really excels through the Goldtone, my LP's shines through the jtm-45.
Below is a rare setup, I just happen to have both cabs in the same place. I had to stack them for kicks,
i have a Palamino 16 and a Line6 at the moment..
had a TRRI but was just too loud
i'm still waiting for that killer deal on a used DRRI
oh, and what Kap'n said!
Imanidiot.
A Victoria Regal, one 6L6 is all you need.
Unforunately I don't have any pics of the amp by itself, I need to work on that.
A Maz Jr. & Fuchs 30 ODS, run parallel.
Able to dial in that rubbery Paisley twang...
DRRI, Orange AD30htc, & Mesa DC-3 head, thru a mix of Tone Tubby Alnico, Celestion Gold, Hellatone G12H30's & Vint30's, & the RI Jensen in the DRRI....
Still waiting on a tweed
That Blockhead is smokin' bnorm44!
Robert
Deluxe Reverb R I . Awsome clarity. This is what you think of when someone says Fender amp.
Marshall `Blues Breaker`2x12 combo. Just wicked with a Telecaster, you may even convert some of those Strat guys.
If I could find a road to get away it wouldn't be too soon....... Shipwreck Moon.......
well i got my DRRI a few days ago.
OMFG!
all that AND a bag of chips!
side perk; my Gretsch Tennessean sounds A-M-A-Z-I-N-G-!!!!!!!
Imanidiot.
The sound of a Tennessean into a Deluxe Reverb....

Several guitars in different colors
Things to make them fuzzy
Things to make them louder
orange picks
that sounds great.
...but i think mine sounds even better...if that's possible
seriously killer amp. this amp makes stock Squires/no name guitars sound good.
Imanidiot.
+1 Frank. I have a 6118 LTV [ I'll give the Tele an occasional rest just to cool off] it's just so sweet through the DRRI, maybe a little tube vibrato....
'65 bandmaster w/2x12"
Marshall 50watt JCM 800 + 1960 A 4x 12 cab
Mid 80's 100watt Sundown Artist 1x12 w 1x12 extension cab
1990 Fender Concert 1x12
I go between my Peavey Classic 30 with a Vintage 30, or my DSL 50 using a Greenback and a Blue Dog. With the Peavey I get a real nice, rounded tone and with the Marshall it's just...BRANG!!
But what I'm REALLY loving is the DiMarzio Area T's that I recentley installed. Can't say enough good about those pickups!
Marshall 1959HW, Bad Cat Cub II, and a '68 Drip Edge Super Reverb
Thru hell and high water!
Actually I love mine most for sound and convenience through my trusty BF amps. One for each volume level needed, from Deluxe, to Super Twin and a few point in between.
I don't get much from my little EL84 type amps (18 watt Marshall Clone, Vox Cambridge Reverb, etc.). Too "brittle" for my taste.
For the biggest bad-ass rock tone it's gotta be one of my Hiwatts. (Think Georgia Satellites)
57 Twin RI, 57 Deluxe RI, and a 65 Princeton Reverb RI. Not shown-63 Reverb unit RI in tweed.
