Can you buy "useful" caps at Radio Shack?

I recently bought caps for my Neo-Tele.
.047uF and the other typical ones, but what should the voltages be?

I'm having a hell of a time really getting this thing to sound right.

I don't have them in front of me, but the voltages seemed high for a gtr.

I didn't even know they sold caps at Rat Shack anymore.

Voltage on a guitar cap shouldn't be an issue. As long as it isn't an electrolytic cap, it should work OK. Whether or not it sounds good is something else.

That should work. Those green 'chicklet' caps aren't looked at as 'tone monsters' (they come in inexpensive Asian guitars), but they should function as expected.

Seymour Duncan includes one of those green chiklet caps .047 with their some of their Fender replacement pickups. They do what they're suppose to do.
