How do I do this?
I have a Fender Strat pickguard in white......I would like to age it in the best way possible.....can putting it out in the sun and chucking it in the dirt for a week help? Or is the plastic they use un-receptive to this kind of accelerated stuff?

white strat pickguards rarely "age". see header.
It's the nature of the material.
coffee or tea can sometimes add a slight tint.
use heat--with the guard screwed to a plank.

You can try any of the following. Depending on the type of plastic used in the guard, some methods may not work as well as others.
- Soak in hot coffee or strong tea. Time may vary from minutes to several hours.
- Coat with brown Kiwi shoe polish and wipe off. Wipe immediately, and repeat as many times to achieve desired color.
- Swipe with "0000 Steel Wool" dusted with fine ash for a worn but not colored appearence. Stroke wool in the direction to simulate downward pick travel. The ash will darken the micro scratches without leaving the surface "dirty".
- Play it more, and then some more. (this yeilds the most authentic results possible)
