I had a Schecter Jimi Hendrix Tribute model like that back in the 80's. After getting a great price on it new, I was all excited but I never really bonded to that guitar. I sold it for what I had in it and used to see it from time to time in music stores asking way more money than when I sold it.

I feel pretty much the same way about my Tele. Against my nature, I bought it a few years back purely on a whim. I thought I'd like to have it for some tonal variety since I pretty much have everything else nailed down. But I guess I'm just not "Tele-centric" 'cause the guitar does nothing for me. But the day after I un-ass it I'll get a call from some country guys lookin' for a picker (Murphy's Law).
