Looking for correct countersunk pickup/switch screws for '62 pickguard

I've got a Fender reissue '62 tortoise pickguard with the countersunk pickup/switch screw holes and I'm looking for the correct nickel screws to use so they will screw down flush with the top of the guard. I have some currently that don't sit flush with the top and they look really bad...the screw head is too large:

I've thought about reaming the holes using a countersink bit but I'd rather just get the correct sized screw. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

They only have pan-head pickup screws and the switch screws are too short to use with pickups.

Maybe, but they've got a $25 min. order and they're listed as 'stainless, chrome'. I'm looking for nickel so they'll age. Thanks for the help...

Yep, I tracked them down at Angela, then found their auction for them on ebay (easier than ordering from them). :) Thanks!

It looks to me that those are the correct screws, although it's hard to tell w/out a straight-on photo. At least the p'up adjust screws look right. I'd try to (CAREFULLY) enlarge the holes a bit.

It looks to me like the right screws.

Is your guard countersunk enough? doesn't look like it is.

Many stores carry a stainless oval head screw that fits. I have a set on my 1960 strat.

It's a real Fender '62 reissue guard...I would assume they're all countersunk the same.

I'll see how these from Angela fit and go from there. They're real Fender screws so they should fit, at least thats what the web page claims.

All the Custom Shop 'guards I've bought (genuine Fender products, too!) needed the holes counter-sunk more deeply to fit the screws that came w/the guitar.
According to A. R. Duchossoir's book the correct size for those screws would be
    #4x1/2 (pickguard)
    #6-32x9/16 (p'up adj.)

Callaham has them. Allparts has them sometimes.
