    1990 Mexican strat neck replacement

    Want to replace to a modern ctype maple on a Mexican 1990 strat, is a straight swop over size and scale wise . Appreciate any advice guys:

    Should bolt right on if it's a 25" scale neck.

    1990 MIM Strats are very rare and great guitars I wouldnt change a thing on it.

    Thanks for the advice guys,the guitar is great, I believe its one of the first and seems to have lots of USA parts on it, good pickups and well produced. The neck is quite hefty, hence the thought of changing it and also well worn frets and fingerboard. The guitar was my sons and passed to me I have a couple of Gretsch with super necks, slim and fast .

    Just buy another neck off Ebay or Allparts and keep the original one.

    A refret will cost more than a whole new neck.
