EHX Hot Tubes

As part of my continuing quest to aquire more (and more and more...) gear I got a Hot Tubes yesterday. Note: always keep in with music store owners, I got it for 1/3 of the normal price 'cos it's been on his shelf for about a year!

This thing screams! It's so versatile i'm amazed. From Lightening Bolt style over-the-top gain to gentle pushed blues. And the controls are so touch sensitive, one little turn of any knob and the sound totally changes.

I love it!

Any other Hot Tubes owners out there? How do these things fare playing live? I fear that I may put my foot right through it...

No one? Oh well. I've gigged it three times now and it sounds awesome! I'm running it into my HRDlx with a Weber Sig 12FB and it's instant Marshall heaven when I turn it on!
I'm liking the fact that I can get a really thick sound for solos with both my dirt boxes on (my other one's a Double Muff) and still get a nice raw sound for those garage rock tracks with the DM in single mode.
And, man, i'm getting so many compliments on my tone now!
