    Fender Vibroking Custom

I have noticed a ticking slight ticking noise when the tremelo is on. It increases with rotating the intensity knob. I have removed my watch, used another plug and moved the amp. The ticking is steady, like a metronome, any suggestions?

I cannot remember if that is tube driven ot opto-circuit driven. May try a new tube first.

Lot's of Vibroking's do that, it's very common. Even old pre-CBS amps with vibrato have that ticking. There is a fix I know, get in contact with Fender they can help. I used to own one of the first Viborkings and mine had a loud ticking noise. Fender faxed me the information how to fix it and it worked. I'm not a technician but the guy who worked on the amp did it in no time.
This was in the mid 90's and I sold the amp in '99, I don't remember what was the cause. But as I said it was an easy fix.
