i have a marshall jcm 2000 100w head - i want to build 1 x 12 small box for practice and small gigs - what is going to be my best speaker choice for the job and also wattage recommendations for the speaker - i want a thicker tone --not a thin sound

I'm guessing most folks would say V30, with Greenback being next most popular. I'm not a big closed back/modern Marshall guy, so I'll defer to their dumbassedness.
Don't worry too much about it being underrated, power wise. If you're gonna crank it that much, I'm sure you'd be bringing the big cab.
