New Starcaster

I do not see them on the Fender website but popping up on Ebay.
Anybody ever check these out?

Well here is the deal...just wondered what they were and now I know.

yep, it's like a Squire, only worse.

In February of 2004, Richard McDonald, VP of marketing was asked that question:

Q: Will Fender bring back the Starcaster?
RM: We are using the name for a line of guitars offered at Costco. It is not the Starcaster of old, however.

Yea it was funny I was stumbling across these things on EBAY for under 100 bucks but found little info on them until I dug deeper.
