My Custom Chapin Tele

Hey all,

thx for the help in my last post. with a little nudging from Bill Chapin, my alder T-Bird will have a rosewood fingerboard. btw, here's the body:



light, tuneful and resonant, Bill's gonna mate it up with a nice rosewood board that he "played" for me over the phone. he gave it a good tone tap, and sure enough, it was "good enough for a marimba".

along with a slightly thicker than PRS wide/fat feeling neck @ around .850" thick, an interesting yet comfortable 8.5-10" compound radius, a brass 3 saddle jobby, and his own custom wound take on the "Velvet Hammer" pickups, i'll be in heaven in less than a month or so!
