Hey, Butch - I thought you were selling those P90's!;)

I've never tried them in a tele, but my dogear sounds great in the bridge of my frankenstrat. P90's sound good in almost anything (once you have the right pots, sheilding, pickup height, etc, etc.... ;))
5E3 Deluxe, '74 hardtail, Strat XII, many copies.

    Well, here's the deal...

I'll sell them if the "deal" is right. I would like to trade them for maybe a "cheap' Tele body. Otherwise, I'll use them if I have them.

I just thought that this guitar looked really nice.

    Freddie Tele-

Yeah, I have another Warmoth/USA Custom tele with Rio Grande P-90s: http://www.alamoarchitects.com/guitars/gold-topped.jpg

This was originally made by a tdp-er with P100s and just a rubbed finish. I sent it off to get Golded and swapped the P100s for the Rios.

What about the Custom Set Neck Tele Jr. that came stock with Duncan p-90'S?

I last saw one in the 2000 Frontline catalogue.

Anyone have one and like to share any info on this beast?

I have an G&L ASAT (Nowadays this model is known as Asat Special). It has what they call "MDF pickups", which look a lot like P90. So basically I have an ash tele w/ maple neck and P90's. And I gotta tell you it sounds FABULOUS. Clear but warm, fat but twangy. (G&Ls are also relatively cheap, and hand build in the USA). I think P90s and Teles match very well.

I have an R6 LP that is my favorit of the bunch. P90's are just amazing pickups. Like Rodney Dangerfield, "they get no respect" :)
