    Japanese Seymour Duncan Tele GUITAR!

    Hi,
I just got myself a MIJ Telecaster. Made by ESP to Seymour Duncans spec. Most people have never heard of that brand since it's not for sale outside Japan.

    Quality is top-notch...Custom Shop quality!

I'm in a hurry at the moment but check out my site with lots of pictures....

No way! I'll keep this one for a long time. You gotta pay a lot to get an equal guitar made in the US. This one is at least as good as a CS Tele. I've played a few...

Butch, you change your avatar so often my head is spinning! What's that white beauty?

Johan--very beautiful Tele. Since it looks so 50's, does it also have the 7 or 7.25" radius? Just curious.

Ah, Kisakae. I should have recognized the "gradation" background. Nice work. Mine usually wind up with quilted tops. :p

hope you will like your Duncan as much as I like mine. You did very well to buy that tele, it looks killer. Mine is in antique white and has the Antiquity pick ups, one piece swamp ash body and the lacquer finish is really nice, it`s great to be able to feel the wood of the neck when playing.
The 190 in the model number means the suggested retail price is 190000 yen so you got a bargain. I don`t think these guitars will be sold Stateside any time soon as the headstocks are precise replicas of Fenders.
    Well done Johan!

    Hi Pete and everyone else!

Yes, it was a real bargain. Well below half the price of a new one. Bought it from the Ishibashi UBox but I couldn't see a scratch. Plastic film on pick-guard!

Pete, you probably have the DT-210 Pro version then? I would love the Antiquity but you can't get everything. The Alnico II Pro pick-ups are real good too. Very sweet sounding and not as shrill and icy.

Duncan guitars is not for sale in the US or in Europe so I imported mine. No problem whatsoever...great service from Ishibashi.

Incl shipping and our wonderful 25% tax and 3% customs here in Sweden, I paid around $800-900. Exchange rate varies alot these days... A new Fender 52 US Tele costs about $2000 and this one is at least as good.

frets are vintage small ones but very polished and shines like jewels.

neck fit is as good as it gets...i would never take the neck off. afraid to destroy something...

for japanese market only so it's not a very common model..

    cheers

Hi. I have the DT- 250M PRO model...and don`t let the " pro " part fool ya....I`m nowhere near that. The guitar is though. I have a Bacchus tele custom with the Duncan Alnico Pro II`s and they sound great to me too.

Thanks for your help again Pete. This time I went all the way and bought the guitar. I won't regret it!

I'm no pro either but at least I look like one now :)
