It is a bit embarrassing to have been concerned with
the human problem all one's life and find at the end
that one has no more to offer by way of
advice than "try to be a little kinder."

Jeff Beck's early Yardbirds stuff. I can never get tired of that sound.
Who's cooler than Keef?
It will always be Albert Collins ! I've always wanted his tone , but not in this life time !
Everyone of the above plus:

J. Mascis

Buck has a tiger by the tail.
Bongo Fury
Brad Paisley, first and foremost...this guy got me to buy a Fender Tele !
Others...Jimmy Olander (Diamond Rio), Brent Mason (Nash. Studio Wiz !), Pete Anderson (Dwight's twang machine) and Bill Hullett (Nash. studio dude, great on Radney Foster's solo work).
Yeah, no rockers here...just twang city.
Hey Bobby Lee,
I have got the Tele for you. Neal and Ron swear by Dunlavey Tele's. This guy makes them right there in Atlanta. As you know they both have all kinds of guitars and this is their main axe now.

Tab Benoit and Albert Collins are two of my favorites.
Also gotta mention Roger Girke and Joe LaSorte... local guys that are MONSTER players! Here's a link to their site.

Syd Barrett.
Scott, I love Syd's playing as well. That's one style I couldn't ever cop.Originally posted by Scott Stulken
Syd Barrett.
Yeah, I can't really either. It was when I couldn't get that sound out of my Strat copy that I knew I needed a Tele!
Many of my other favorites have already been mentioned, but I should add Peter Buck too.
Vince Gill, Roy Nichols, and the late Don Rich (from Buck Ownes and the Buckaroos)
All above esp.
The Iceman! Albert Collins
Jimmy Page
lately,
Johnny Greenwood
I saw a 45 minute Prince show at Slim's in SF a few years back. The show started at about 3am (after his big arena show earlier in the night). He was playing a Tele surprisingly well!
Roy Buchanan
Mike Stern
David Gilmour
My vote is for Danny Gatton.
What an unbelievable player!
