original 1965 tele bridge pickup any good

for a replacement in my 52 reissue. Want a hot classic tele sound thats an improvement on the original 97 reissue pickup. Can get this pickup relatively cheap any ideas or opinions

60s Tele PUPs are generally brighter and thinner than the 50s versions and by the late 60s CBS really messed them up. There was always some variation though. If it's original it will have the full strat-style staggered poles. I wouldn't expect it to be hotter than what you have now.

A 10K Relic PUP or other Broadcaster type might be more what you're looking for.
