    good guitar teacher in northern nj?

    im looking for a good guitar teacher who wont assume im an idiot and try and teach me the pentatonic scale. anyone in my area know anybody? im interested in learning slide, slap GUITAR, tastefull tapping and just improve as a player. any ideas?

    When i lived there I studied under Mr Donny Mandzo He resides in Rutherford so a bit of a ride for you but he is amazing he made me a much better player, I am sure if you call around someone can find him, not sure how he spells his last name but its close

    Where in Rutherford? I've lived here for 25 years and never heard of him... I was thinking about lessons myself and someone in town would be awesome...

    Contact Skip Spady - www.skipspady.com. I don't think he gives lessons, but he'd probably know somebody - he's one of the best guitarists I know and he lives in Roselle. Plays in the Black Widow Band and a few others...

    I know Skip from the old college days - in fact here is the infamous pic of us playing together in 1974.

    do not know Skip
    but Donny Lived right off the road the runs parralel to the RR trax not far from downtown i am sure he is still around
    He was amazing he could transcribe Howe or anyone else He actually treid out for Blondie but was'nt Cute enough

    check the phone listings he has to be there its either Manzo or Mandzo
