Well, I already posted it in the B-Bender thread, but what the hell...
It's a mid-90s Fender American Nashville Tele with three factory pickups, a five-way switch, and a factory installed B-bender.

Here's my fav Tele. Double bound Mahogany/Walnut top with Cello/50's gretsch style fhole (also bound). P90 under "Charlie Christian" style cover, Kent Armstrong bridge pickup. Oh yeah and "banjo" style inlay including a Steer head at the first fret!

Some are older, some I still have..
OT: The Flattop in the middle is the most expensive FlatTop ever built by Epiphone. It's a 1962 Epiphone Excellente and I sold it to Rainbow Guitars in Aritona in 1993 for real good money, believe you me. The guitar is mentione in the book "Acoustic Guitars and fretted instruments" by George Gruhn & Walter Carter.

Got it about 5 years ago (traded my Clapton Strat.) Added brass compensated saddles and got some original '65-'66 pickups that had been rewound by Lindy Fralin which sound Old Style but with his patented Pixie Dust overlaid. Neck is worn to the born and plays like a dream.

Hey Prez-
I passed on a copper RI but only because it showed up at the same shop a week after I'd gotten my '52RI. I sure wish I'd gotten it. It was nice but the pickups were a little weaker than the one I'd already gotten. That woulda been easily remedied but I was Guilted Out of plunking down another Chunk of Change right then. They sure are nice Teles.
Nice Kirchen touch too. I asked him to sign the inside of my Deluxe Reverb.

Been my main axe since 1992. It's a stock 92 American Standard. About ready for a re-fret though. http://www.tracecounty.com/photo/photomain.html
Trey,
Thank you for the kind words. I bet you've got a rare piece in your BK signed Deluxe Reverb, too; good thinkin'!
I found this '97 Copper last year at a local Ma + Pa type shop (my fave kind of shop). Some guy traded it in for an ES-335. Well, it was marked $789; had SD Alnico Pro IIs in it; and here's the kicker...the original pups were in the tweed case! So was the COA and all the case candy. I did a cash/trade deal that got me the git for about $700. The shop owner did very well reselling my trade; so, it turned out to be a "Jack Sprat" exchange for both of us. Gotta love those little shops; gotta support 'em, too!
I really like the SD pups; they have a '50s snarl to them. Knew that Copper was going home with me when I plugged it into a '59 Princeton at the shop (have same amp at home); instant Tele & Tweed Heaven! ;)
So there clones, big deal.
They are beautiful clones.
Wish my clown was that beautiful...
