take a look at THE FENDER BOOK by Tony Bacon & Paul Day, it lists many serial number datings, maybe there's one for acoustics too?

Just dont see the FAQ on the Gearhead link.
Click on the Fender logo on the left of the screen. The FAQs are linked at the top of the page that pops up from there. If you're still having problems, post the country of origin of your guitar and the serial number here...and I'll look it up for you.
