Where can you get a bassman repro faceplate?

    I mean besides ebay.

I've got a '68 with black lines and alum trim that's beat all to hell. The chassis's got a nice new blonde 2x10 combo on order to call home but the faceplates got to go. A blackface plate would be ok because the circuit is.

Are the faceplates glued down on a silverface?

I just replaced my '68 SF blackline Twin faceplate with a repro from Chris Stanley- tadtuf1@yahoo.com

He makes a '68 SF blackline Bassman faceplate as well.

SF faceplates are not glued down. Just removed the screws for the brights swith and all the nuts on the pots and lamp assembly and it comes right off.

Thanks for the compliment BlueLou! I've been playing since the age of 6 and in bands by the time I was in grade school. Its always been a great outlet for me. Looks like I'm not alone here in the "serious player" category though!

Has anyone dealt with the Ebay seller from Thailand who sells Fender faceplates? I've been leary about buying one from him but he does have a few other faceplates that i would still like to get.
