    Guitar Wire Gauge

    I'm going to re-wire my strat, what kind of wire is it?

    What gauge and I assume it's stranded?

    I believe it's 22 gauge.
    Some say to use solid. I use stranded.
    Most guitar companies use stranded.
    It's less likely to break.
