And on the Lighter Side -

Been some heavy stuff going down here lately.

As I look into officially hitting the geezer birthday just want you guys to know it's all good!

I think Joe sums it up as well as anybody ever has. Sit back, take listen and enjoy.

You know, it always surprised me that Joe Walsh joined the Eagles. I remember The James Gang (still one of my favorite albums) and his solo work ("The Smoker You Drink, The Player You Get, et al). His wild and rowdy demeanor didn't seem to fit the image of the clean-cut, melodious Eagles.

But much like the fresh-faced Mick Taylor joining the Rolling Stones, Walsh easily helped make the Eagles greater than the sum of their parts.

I guess you never can tell.

As someone who is now beyond his 70th birthday I have to ask, "what is the geezer birthday"?
