    RIP Gregg Allman

say hi to brother Duane and Berry Oakley for me, will ya?

sorry to see him go. One of the best singers I've ever heard. Not a pure vocal talent but omg how much soul he put into his work.

    RIP Greg Allman

Well I guess those news reports we read before he and his manager denied them were true. RIP Greg Allman. Whipping Post will forever be among my favorite songs. I thought his last few albums were pretty good too. The midnight rider had a good run.

Listening to "Drown In My Own Tears" on Derek Trucks' Soul Serenade álbum right now. Major bummer.

Damn. This news hit me hard, and I can't really say why. There was a time when the Allmans were at or near the top of my fave list, but not always. Still, "Melissa" is one of the songs on my personal guitar playlist. RIP, Gregg.

Thanks for everything Gregg. You inspired so many and made the world a better place.

    Re: RIP Gregg Allman

In tribute to Gregg Allman, I created a Spotify radio station at work today, and played it the entire day. I may have been the only one who noticed, but it felt right to have his music playing, even if it was background music to others.

One of my favorite bands. I've seen them many times, and will miss them for sure. What a great voice he had.

I need to dial up the track "Dreams". Whenever I listen to that I can't believe that I'm listening to a 19 year old Gregg. He's always had that voice it seems.

sadly the CD player in my car died and I can only listen to tapes and I don't have any ABB on cassette.
