    Tokai Telecaster

    Hi folks.
I've got a a Tokai "Breezysound" Telecaster and it is an absolutely astounding guitar. The neck feels just amazing and it plays like butter and sounds fantastic.
    Looks great too.
Honestly blown away by this tele.Perfect intonation(with old strings)stays perfectly in tune and looks/feels and sounds pure vintage.
I'm trying to find out what model and year it's from.
It needs a clean as there were a couple of stickers on it.
It's Buterscoth and the grain in the wood is visable. It's got a brass bridge/saddles.The tuners are labled "deluxe"
Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know much about these guitars except that I played an old Tokai that was similar to a '60s Strat and it really felt like an old Strat! The guitar had a few small electrical issues and the frets were worn out but I really liked it!

Did you flip the hotdog or was that way when you got it?

    It's OK to play Tokai!

It was like that.I quite like it like that actually. It's cool for doing volume swells etc and I use the volume control quite a bit on my guitars.
Apparently it's an early-mid 80's model TE-50?Don't know much about Tokai guitars but it's a sweet guitar for sure.

I would check out the butt of the neck just to make sure they didn't put a date there just like on Fenders. I mean heck, it looks like they nailed everything else! Love the curved rosewood "cap" it has.
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but what a guitar!
