Converting a Fender Modern Player Mustang

I bought a modern player mustang for $300 and I was wondering if I can just load up a normal mustang pickguard and put the mustang single coils and replace the stock p90's. I like p90's but I already have guitar for that. I wanted a fender mustang on the cheap and this one was already upgraded with a mastery bridge so I couldn't pass up the deal. I want to know if I can retrofit it and convert it into a regular mustang without rerouting?

Anyone here have any experience or seen someone do it? Much help would be appreciated!

Pull the guard and see how it's routed. You might luck out and be able to just swap guards.
