Last chance to post this here.... NGD information

So, with Fender selling off Guild to Cordoba, there is a mad scramble to get New Hartford Guilds before they disappear. On Fender's part - they want to dump their remaining inventory, so there have been some good deals available from Fender/Guild. I found a "B" stock F-30 (Orchestra body - traditional series) for a killer price. It is being shipped from Scotsdale to Worcester, MA and then from there to me! Phtots will be shown when she gets here. Wish me luck!

Talk to Carl. He gets an updated list from Fender/Guild regularly as they sell off stock.

So for curiosity, anyone know where Guilds will be made going forward?
Personally I'd like to see them back in Rhode Island, but I guess that won't happen.

The sale to Cordoba Guitars is nearly complete. They appear to be planning to build them in Oxnard, CA (having hired Ren Furgeson to run the Guild operation tells me they are serious about maintaining their quality). I heard that they've been told to pack up all remaining inventory and put it on a truck bound to points unknown tonorrow. I know one of the New Hartford guys posted a phtot of his empty desk this morning on Facebook.

Update on the F-30. The B stock I was going to get was damaged to a point where Fender wouldn't sell it. I ended up ordering an A stock instead. Then, in a moment of weakness, while calling to confirm that it indeed was going to be shipped to me, I ordered an F-47 RC as well. Both guitars will be delivered on Monday. I may end up with an overnight case of the flu on Tuesday... :)

Just a tease until I can get time, a camera and the guitars all in one spot.

I played a Guild F30 R in natural in a shop recently, and really liked it. Wasn't prepared to pay the $1,700 for it, though, as an impulse buy.

    A "B Stock" Standard F-30 R was around $1300 as a closeout.

That F-30 is one of the nicest acoustics I've ever played. Last week I had a visit from Telenator and he could not bring himself to put it down.
