strat faded colour mysterium

hi all

some weeks ago I posted a picture of my 78 strat in heavy faded colour.
yesterday evening I had a openair gig with that guitar.
between 2 sets I looked on my guitar from far away and she looked totally black. I went on to the guitar and................yes indeed, completly black.
the fading was totally gone. this morning the guitar still completly black. I took some pictures.
I like it more in faded, so I hope, it will come back.
but the question now is: what happened? why this colour changing?

blue one picture was made directly after buying the guitar.
I replaced that damn seymour duncan with the original p.up later.

no, I´m not sweating much. and sweat would not have reached some areas.

maybe it has to do something with moisture.
the band was placed near a little lake. everything felt very clammy.
maybe right amount of clamminess now back in paint?

Moisture in the wax on the surface of the guitar.
Being a '78 I'm assuming it's some type of polyurethane finish.
