    Incoming NGD

No pics as I am still waiting for it, but I have a Duesenberg Starplayer TV in sparkle blue in route.

Saw one of those in Premier Guitar in the hands of one of the guys from My Morning Jacket. Sweet.

Those are some pretty uptown wangy bar guitars.

Is this a reasonable facsimile? http://www.jacksonsrareguitars.com/i...sparkle_00.jpg

    Here it is :)
Not the best pic, and sorry for not posting it yesterday, but I was a little busy
Really good fit and finish, Quite nice tone and a usable range of them. Some don't seem to like the middle position, but I like it. Only thing not exceptionally positive about it is I am going to lower the action just a touch (like 1/64 or 2/64)

Well, the more you pay, the more you play.

I dunno. My cheapest guitar - the $125 Esquire, is my most played guitar right now. It's also my most recent acquisition, which may be part of it.

Conversely, I rarely play my Strat or LP anymore. Sometimes I think I hold onto them mostly so I don't end up rebuying them anyway.

I played one of those in a local store. One of the finest instruments I have ever played. The tremolo is smooth like butta, the humbuckers are full yet toothy, clear, and balanced. The action was low and very well...articulated, for lack of a better word, and there was nothing not to love about that sparkle blue finish!

I just don't have the rubles...
