Power Transformer and amp testing rig

For us amp nerds that build and salvage...

Mad scientist waking-moment brain fart led to this.
Rather than clipping wild leads everywhere and capping things off...etc.

This is a safety oriented rig that is both a general purpose light bulb limiter and has plenty
of room to hook up the leads safely inside screw-in terminals.
The block was salvaged from a CNC machine that got scrapped.

There is a 6.3V pilot light, fuse holder, and IEC jack on the romex outlet box.
Plenty of room for expansion for other functions, like a breadboard for amp
designs, or power tube matcher, output transformer tester...etc.

    The transformer tested good.

Sounds like a smart way to do things.
    Several guitars in different colors
    Things to make them fuzzy
    Things to make them louder
    orange picks

    Thanks Kap'n.

Hard to tell from the pictures but it would be difficult to touch an exposed wire.
Much sturdier than wire nuts and gator clips.

Um, cool except for one thing, they don't sell incandescent bulbs anymore. 25W bulbs are going to be hard to replace!

    Oh...don't get me started...

There are still plenty available here in the south.
    Been stocking up.

How long before "they" attack vacuum tubes?
Do "they" know what's inside those?
