It was way to light for this guitar.
I tried Kiwi brown, but it just did not get dark enough even after a few applications.
So how did I do it?
Kiwi brown heated to up to about 500 degrees with a shrink tube gun!!!
It makes the color permanent, and uneven so it almost looks like real aging.
It does have ahhhhh.... well... a tendency to melt the pick guard.... so you have to watch for it... otherwise it turns into a melted plastic ball of goo... Well, lets put it this way.. This guitar no longer has a switch surround...well... it does.... but it won't fit on it anymore....
