I had an SX Tele, it was amazing. Had the proper Fender headstock too.

SX and Agile are actually separate companies - China and Korea based -
BUT
Yes!!! I use my 2 SX basses to this day! In fact - the Jazz is going with me Saturday night.
So - When does you SX thinline arrive?

The guy in the video seems to thing SX is a Spanish brand("... extremely cheap Spain brand).
Odd.

I had seem a spanish page for SX -
TEAM is the parent company if I recall correctly - maybe Team international? something like that.
SX is Chinese produced, Agile is Korean.
I think both plants turn out some nice stuff, along with mucho-entry level stuff.
I got the a first run of the Agile 3000 series - CSB LP type with P90s.
My only complaint was scratchy pots, that I have yet to fix.
I Sanded the back of the neck, and will probably sand it some more. I did it for feel, not aging - and it feels good. I think It just needs taken down a tad more - thats all. Frets, neck, etc.......very nice
SX -
the basses - I love the necks - they are very nice, and my experience has been that the frets were nicely done.

I've read lots of good things about the early ones.
To read the posts from the Agile-ites on another forum, you get the impression that the guy who owns Rondo specs things himself and has them MIC/K, so he can personally pass the savings along to frugal US pickers.
That was why I found that guy's comment about it being a Spanish brand, if not odd, revealing.

So are the newer Agile LPs not so good? 'Cause I keep looking at those things....

I don't know about quality, but they changed the shape of the cutaway at some point and the headstock, which made them less apealing to some.
The higher model numbers are supposed the better ones.
I played a used LP copy, one that was lower in the line than the 3000, and it was attractive, and pretty heavy, but unconvincing in every other way. Generic, slim/flat, un-Lestery feeling neck.
It didn't measure up to the "as good as a Gibson, for the money" hype, not even for the money.

I would love to have a tele like in my OP.
