There was a request for pics of my new Tele in my other thread. So here are a few:
2009 Custom Shop Telecaster, Violin Burst with birdseye maple neck.
My only complaint about the guitar, is the lack of a string tree for the two high strings, the high E string does get a ghost note when played open due to the very shallow angle that it breaks over the nut. My tech wanted to add the tree for me but when he said he would need to drill a hole, I decided to wait. The more I play it, the more I agree with him and will probably add the tree next weekend. Odd that the Custom shop didn't add the tree.
With my other guitars, the black 2000 and the sunburst 2006 are my main guitars and are played out every weekend. The White one is a Japanese strat from the early 80's (83 maybe?) and was my first "real" guitar back in Highschool.
