Looks good , As pointed out one can only do so much..As a painter by trade your probably the only person that knows where all the flaws are anyhoo trust me on this..
Funny (or not)...the only real way to find the flaws was to start shooting color.
Bare wood, sealer...primer just does not do it.
So I went through that stage at least four times before I got it right.
Sanded right through the color, re-primed...etc, on purpose to get a good base.
Yup thats how its done I may go over a pice of work five six times.. I know its a PITA but worth it in the end...

Yes, and it is overdue for the return visit.
I haven't seen the guy for two weeks at work, but he is reclusive.
