Which cap?

Which capacitor should I but in my Tele project.

I'm looking for the '53 tone. Lots of TWANG!

I'd go as low as I could (.01uf), and use film instead of ceramic.

Somebody help me out here - the cap will only bleed high frequencies, so more cap = less twang?

I put fender no loads in my tele for volume and tone (on 10 you bypass the pots and cap completely so it is pickups straight to output jack)

Now THAT is twangy!

I heard that the .047 was the standard for Teles.

I've also heard people swap these for the .01's.

TWANG is certainly the way to go, i'll go out on a limb and trust you... ;)
