whaddya think: would be going in a pretty heavy (9+ lbs) '78 tele. currently loaded w/ stock neck and SD hot lead stack bridge. sounds good, but not all that as far as vintage "twang". step in the right direction?

I'd look for a used Duncan Broadcaster or Fralin bridge pickup before considering ceramic magnet pickups in a Tele.
Not a big fan of Fender-style ceramic bar magnet pickups either.
Several guitars in different colors
Things to make them fuzzy
Things to make them louder
orange picks
If you want to go GFS,they have some other great tele models for not much $.

The GFS 'fat-body' Tele neck PU is like the fattest (but still clear) Strat neck PU you ever heard. i love it and i'm picky as sh*t!
