    Black Strat scratchplate

    Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows where i can get a Fender Strat 11 hole black scratchplate, however it has to be quite specific! I'm after either 1 ply black or 3 ply black/black/black. I've only seen plates with the middle ply being white...
UK is preferable but would consider online overseas. I've searched Ebay etc but no success! Dont' know if the configuration is different but my Strat is about 3 years old and is the 50th anniversary model.

    Many thanks for any help!

If your referring to my guitar - no, it's black with a white scratchplate. It has a square silver plate on the back where the fretboard is screwed into the body saying something like Fender Stratocaster 50th Anniversary.

    Go to www.warmoth.com

They offer a solid black pickguard in either .06" or .09" thickness.

If you really must have 3 different pieces of black laminated together, they might be willing/able to do that. It's worth a shot to contact them.

    Welcome to the forum!

That just means it was made in 2004.

A "50th Anniversary Strat" is either:
    • A custom shop repro of a '54 strat
    • An American Series instrument with 2 color sunburst on ash, with maple neck and CS '54 pickups
    • A Deluxe series instrument with 2 color sunburst on alder with maple neck.
    • A MIM gold on gold instrument with maple neck.
    Several guitars in different colors
    Things to make them fuzzy
    Things to make them louder
    orange picks

For a minute I thought this thread was going to be about a new Ted Nugent song.
