anyone make a nickel saddled, thick steel block trem for a MIM strat?

I want the same constructed bridge assembly as a 62 reissue for my MIM project Strat. full steel block, nickel saddles (wider), and does it have to be a magnetic block? Who makes one in a 2 and 1/16 spacing?

-> or can I drill new mounting holes to accept a normal sized reissue bridge of 2 and 3/16?
(not sure I want to go that way)

I'm pretty sure Callahan makes what you need, BP. The steel trem block is the best material for maximum sustain an' chime IMO.

There was a vendor on the bay a while back who was sellin' a template to convert a narrow-spaced 2-1/16" Strat bridge to the vintage-style 2-7/32". You hafta fill the original bridge plates holes first, then re-drill usin' the template to locate the new holes. I s'pose it would work but I'd recommend havin' a drill press handy.

    I'd check with GFS.

maybe I'll just do the GFS and keep the 2 1/16 spacing.
